About Electronic Terminations
We were originally known as Girdlestone Electronics, but as the direction of the business changed to meet the demands of the nineties and we became increasingly focused on defence and highways products, we became Electronic Terminations. At that time it was decided we required further room for expansion so relocated to Wickham Market, near Ipswich in 1992 where we had built a manufacturing and sales facility designed to focus on the emphasis towards our defence and highways product base.
Our involvement with these sectors has continued to this day, where we are major suppliers to national defence organisations both in the UK and abroad, as well as a principal supplier of a range of cable products and associated components to the UK Highways Agency and their prime contractors.
In addition to supplying our current product range we have the necessary skills and facilities to supply obsolete items, where we can retro-engineer products to maintain continuous support of otherwise unobtainable parts.
Our business is specialised and the skills we have to manufacture and supply electrical components are unique. In addition to our mainstream manufacturing our associated companies have facilities for injection moulding and tool making. It is this ability to turn an idea in your designer’s mind, or an obsolete component into reality, that makes Electronic Terminations the first choice for many major organisations.
