Sustainability at Electronic Terminations Ltd

Eco-friendly practices, materials & supply chain

At Electronic Terminations Ltd (ETL), we recognise the importance of protecting our environment while delivering top‑quality electronic and cable assemblies. Our commitment to sustainability drives every decision we make, from material selection to manufacturing practices and community partnerships.

  • Local Sourcing: We prioritise sourcing raw materials and components from UK and regional suppliers to reduce transportation emissions. By working with local partners across Suffolk and neighbouring counties, we keep logistics lean and responsive.

  • Responsible Materials: Wherever possible, we select halogen‑free, low‑smoke, and recycled polymers for cable jackets, connectors, and enclosures. On average, up to 50% of our polymer content is post‑consumer or industrial recycled material, tailored to meet the performance requirements of each project.

  • On‑Site Renewable Energy: Our manufacturing facility incorporates rooftop solar PV arrays that supply a significant portion of our daytime electricity demand. This investment has reduced our reliance on the national grid and lowered our greenhouse gas emissions annually.

Community & Industry Collaboration

We proudly manufacture in the Suffolk countryside in the thriving town on Wickham Market, not far from the coastal town of Aldeburgh and just a stones throw from the historic Framlingham Castle.

Supporting Local Expertise: We collaborate with Suffolk‑based design consultancies, metal‑fabrication workshops, and electronics recyclers to strengthen the regional economy and reduce transport footprint.
