Electronic Terminations Ltd, along with our colleagues from our injection moulding sister company Roland Plastics, is excited to be visiting Highways UK at the NEC, Birmingham – the UK’s largest highways conference and exhibition. The event runs on 15–16 October in Hall 5, bringing together more than 10,000 industry professionals and 360+ exhibitors to discuss the future of roads, resilience and digitalisation.
Why we’re attending
Highways UK is the place where planners, operators, contractors and innovative suppliers meet to solve real-world problems facing our roads network. With dedicated theatres covering topics such as Digital Roads, Network Resilience, Sustainability and Strategic Roads, the event mirrors the areas where ETL’s expertise is most relevant – ruggedised assemblies for roadside equipment, robust communications cabling, and power distribution solutions for mission-critical infrastructure.
Highways UK is an ideal platform for collaboration. ETL has supplied National Highways and major contractors for decades, and events like this accelerate the conversations that lead to better-integrated systems. We’re keen to talk with local authorities, systems integrators, civil contractors and technology partners who are exploring digital monitoring, fibre roll-out or upgrades to roadside power systems.
With more than 250 speakers across multiple theatres, the conference programme offers valuable insight into policy, materials, EV infrastructure and resilience planning. We’ll be following sessions on digital roads and network resilience closely – topics that align with our work on smart assemblies and remote diagnostics for critical roadside equipment.
